We call it wet toilet paper. Yes, we see the same thing. The material falls away leaving us with loose rupture disc fittings and the rupture disc vibrates itself to death.
However, the rupture disc only fails on the first off where we have the stack routing hot gasses away from the building. We have not had a single rupture disc fail anywhere else – where no stack is installed.
We theorize the stack is vibrating and putting stresses on the rupture disc resulting in a failure. An engineering firm is analyzing the theory for us right now.
