We have been having an issue with high charge air temp at the engine inlet. In the past several months, the temp has been slowly increasing, and putting us into a derate. The CA pressure at the engine inlet, and CAC Pinch, have both been increasing as the temp has been increasing. Both HT and LT water systems appear to be functioning properly, with no issues. New air filters, no restriction across the charge air coolers. Ambient temp does not seem to affect it- we have gone from -30C to +15C, and still have the same issue. Has anyone run into this before, or have any ideas?

    Thanks

Even though you are not reading a temperature differential your cooler is probably dirty. How many hours do you have on this engine?

We are at about 6300 hours runtime.

I meant pressure differential, not (temperature differential) in my previous post. If you have the ability I would remove the cooler and clean it. We use lots of simple green and a hot water pressure washer to get the majority of the dirt. We then set it in a bubbling tank to help clean the coils in the center. If, you want to do something quick the pressure washer will do a pretty good job.

Thank you. I figured that you were talking about pressure diff. I will definitely give that a try.
